MILK SUPER LEVY SITUATION
Butterfat adjusted deliveries of milk to Kerry Agribusiness at the end of October 2011 were 11 ml litres over quota. In October 2010 we were under quota by 41 ml litres. The country was 2.41% over quota at the end of September.
Please note that the milk quota position is also published on the department’s website (http://www.agriculture.gov.ie) under ‘Publications’, followed by the relevant year. Producers are reminded of the responsibility to manage their own quotas and of the possible Super Levy risk attached to exceeding that quota.
